01Name & positioning

Free, open-source personality exploration

Curiosity, with context

Help people notice patterns and ask useful questions. A type is a starting point for exploration; leave room for change and individual differences.

Open about the method

Make the questionnaire, scoring and limitations easy to find. Keep measured preferences, theoretical interpretation and fictional stories clearly distinguished.

Useful in everyday life

Connect a result to a small action, a conversation or a reflection. Give people a reason to return beyond a four-letter label.

Use dimension hues for illustrations, indicators and larger accents. Small text needs a readable foreground. Pair color with a label, and honor high-contrast and color-vision settings.

Sora

A little more understanding. One small step.

  • Use the display face sparingly. Keep longer reading and interactive labels in the body face.
  • For Chinese, Japanese and other scripts, use appropriate local glyphs and fallbacks. Japanese uses Noto Sans JP. Never force Latin letter spacing onto a local script.
  • Build with generous space, thin borders and mostly square corners. Keep the hierarchy clear before adding decoration.
  • Give controls at least a 44 px target, visible keyboard focus and a reduced-motion experience. Accessibility preferences take precedence over decoration.

05Voice & expression

Warm, curious and precise. Speak to a person with choices. Explain what a result can suggest and where its limits begin.

Cats

Warm paper, watercolor portraits, ink-colored text and softer controls.

Explore this appearance

An appearance changes the presentation and fictional character layer. The questions, scoring, assessment version and saved result keep their meaning. The OpenJung name and prism remain the parent identity.

Cats uses artwork from PurrJung to playfully describe human personality preferences. It does not assess a real cat’s personality.
