An everyday communication tool

My personal manual

Help others understand what works for you. Put your preferences for feedback, changed plans and difficult conversations into words you can share.

For friends, partners and colleagues. Your own words—not a personality-type prediction, compatibility score or set of rules for someone else.

Your writing stays in this page’s memory. It is not uploaded, put in the URL or saved by this tool. Copy or download before refreshing, leaving or changing language.

What helps you?

Everything is optional. Choose a starting phrase, write in your own words, or do both. Only filled sections appear in the preview.

What helps you?
Receiving feedback

What timing, format or level of detail helps you hear feedback?

When plans change

What information or time would help when a plan changes at short notice?

After a disagreement

How would you like to pause, reconnect or pick up the conversation?

Optional: boundaries, ways to reach you, what you can offer in return, or a situation where your preferences differ.

A personal manual example

An invented example for a colleague—not a recommended style or a description of a personality type. Keep only what fits your situation.

Receiving feedback

Please send the main point in writing before our conversation. One concrete example helps me understand what to change.

When plans change

Please tell me the new deadline and what can wait. I will say if I need time to rearrange my work.

After a disagreement

If either of us needs a pause, can we agree when to continue? I want to hear your perspective before deciding on a next step.

These are my current preferences, not fixed rules. I would like to hear what works for you too, and revisit this together when needed.

Use it as a conversation starter

  1. Choose one real setting

A work style template may mention feedback and response times. A version for a friend or partner may focus on plans and reconnecting. You do not need to cover everything.

  2. Describe a concrete request

“Please give me an example” is easier to discuss than “Understand me better.” Include what you can do in return, without promising something you cannot sustain.

  3. Make room for the other person

Ask what works for them too. Discuss differences and revisit the text when your situation changes. Sharing it does not create an obligation to agree.

Before you share

Do I need to know my MBTI type?

No. This tool does not ask for a type or read your test results. The text comes from the preferences you select and write, not a type-based inference.

Is my personal manual public?

No public profile or share link is created. This tool keeps your input in page memory, without uploading it or putting it in the URL. The public introduction and example can be indexed; your draft is not published. The site’s ordinary visit analytics follow the privacy settings.

Can I use it as a work style template?

Yes. You can write a version for colleagues, a partner or friends, and edit the final text before taking it with you. It is a self-description for discussion, not an assessment of ability, a compatibility test or a requirement that someone follow your preferences.
