A conversation before the trip

J/P travel agreement

One of you wants a plan; the other wants room to wander. Start with what each of you actually wants on this trip, then write an agreement you can both accept.

J/P is a familiar starting point, not an explanation for conflict. This tool does not assign preferences by type or judge compatibility. You do not need to know your type.

Make room for both of you

Use the same device together. A and B each write their own preferences, then discuss and write a joint agreement for each topic. “None” or “not sure yet” is a valid preference.

Only exact wording is compared (ignoring spaces at the edges). Different wording may mean the same thing; matching wording is not consent.

1. BudgetNot yet confirmed by both

Write your comfortable spending range, currency and whether it is per person/day or for the whole trip. Include what it covers and when you want to discuss extra costs.

Waiting for both preferences

Write this together. The tool will not choose a compromise for you. Agree on an amount, currency, what it covers, how to split costs and the extra-spending threshold that needs a conversation.

Enter both preferences and a joint agreement to enable confirmation. Each traveler checks their own box.

Editing either preference or the agreement clears both confirmations for this topic. Other topics stay unchanged.

2. Must-do plansNot yet confirmed by both

Which places or activities matter to you? Note any timed bookings and what could be skipped. Write “none” if nothing is essential.

Keep your travel agreement

You can export at any point. Unconfirmed items remain clearly labeled as drafts. The text includes both preferences, your agreements and the confirmation status. Share only with people you choose.

Before you plan together

Can J and P travel together?

A type label cannot decide whether a trip will work. Talk about this trip’s actual needs: spending limits, bookings, rest and what happens when plans change. Either traveler can want structure in one area and freedom in another.

What if we disagree on the itinerary?

Keep both preferences visible. Discuss what is essential, what is optional and where separate activities might work. You can leave an item unconfirmed; the tool will not treat silence, identical wording or an average budget as agreement.

Do both travelers need an account?

No. This version is for two people using one device together. Confirmation is a conversation aid, not remote approval or identity verification. There is no public result link or online collaboration.
